Darn it! I just typed a good entry and this freakin' site just erased it! Argh! Anyway, I was writing about the episode on FRIENDS where Phoebe and Monica are talking about 'cutting out' people from their lives. I at least, have told the people I felt were 'toxic' in my life that I needed space or 'time apart' from them and their unhealthy impressions on me. I didn't think when I moved here that people would expect me to 'keep in touch' while they went about their lives and chose not to contact me, not even by phone. I thought, with me having told people I thought were my friends about my 'abandonment issues,' that they would at least TELL me when they didn't want me or couldn't keep me in their lives. When I moved here a year ago, I didn't know that I would have to call people rather than they pick up a phone and call me just to say, "I love you," or just a simple, "hello!" It makes me sad but you know what? I'm going to be okay. I have my family, I have my friends and I have most of all, myself. It does feel like I fell of the face of the Earth, but I am a survivor and I am going to make it. It's hard to realize that people who claimed to love you, in fact, don't. I will not name names and I will suscribe to my grandmother's notion of, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." Song of the day: "The Voice Within," by Christina Aguilera...
